The Forest -
     A Japanese word ‘Shinrin-yoku’ means to ‘bathe in the Forest’.

Moving with slow steps and turning the head, it is all colour and line. Shapes and shadows. An ever changing fluid poem – which seems to make it unpaintable .. and for many years i would prefer to just soak it up rather than ‘challenge’ myself with the task of composing a picture. Because – where do you start ?

Well , recently I seem to have found what it is I want to say and found a way to use the materials - and so have set to work.

 To capture the ‘spirit’ and essence was the intention.
